a couple of weeks ago, tucker and i left the kids with the chinese grands and headed off to san antonio for tucker's step-half-brother's wedding. it was raining buckets and we thought for sure it was going to be a wash, since every part of the wedding was OUTSIDE. i was so skeptical, i wore my wellies to the ceremony. well, lo and behold the gods were with them, because 10 minutes before the ceremony the cloudy skies parted and it was beautiful.
the wedding was a blast and i thought it had a really san-antonio-y kind of feel. from the ceremony outside the courthouse, to the dinner overlooking the riverwalk, then the very fun boatride up the new section of the riverwalk, to the olf vfw post, where they had dancing under the stars - tres originale and tres romantic.
