so, at work i had applied for another internal role. it's kind of a high profile, rotational gig, and i really wanted it. he told me it was down to me and this other girl, and that is was a really hard decision for him, but that he chose the other person. i didn't get it. i think it's the first time since college i haven't gotten a job i interviewed for, so i do feel taken down a notch or two.
