what a night!
cal and prine's simon and garfunkel costume was quite the hit! a lot of baby boomers live in our neighborhood and we got a couple of "that's the best costume of the night!" and even a "are you going to scarborough fair?" annette made the shirts and put the ensemble together, and also fluffed out prine's hair to a lovely 'fro. i was going to do a bowl cut on cal, but we ran out of time (lucky for him), and just went with a little combover of his bangs. carlisle and avery, our two princesses, rounded out the crew. tucker's wagon from the firestation festival was also in full effect, as the lights which weren't as noticable during the daytime festival were awesome once night fell. the wagon turned out to be pretty handy, as the kids loved riding in it, and we also got some appreciative comments from quite a few parents.
hyde park went full out for halloween and it qwas quite impressive. and we didn't even get over to avenue h, which apparently was the most impressive and we heard the kids were 20 deep. click on the photo album to see all the halloween pics, but here are a couple of my favorites:

Arrrgh! The cuteness! I can't take it. :)
