ok, so i am starting to be able to get into more of a routine with cal. also, i started using a babysitter, so that's nice. it's kinda wierd, because i pay someone to watch cal while i run around and do errands, but i think i just have to get used to it. the 2-3 hours i get with the babysitter, i plan it to the n'th degree. i make a list of all the things i have to do and try to squeeze it all in - i feel like a frazzeled suburban mom when i only have a newborn. ;-)
dad is doing a little better. they've moved him to a rehab hospital, so that's an improvement. we are starting to make plans to move my family down to austin by april, so a lot is going on. i shouldn't have let them move to vegas in the first place, but hindsight is 20/20, right?
sent out first batch of birth announcements. made me feel good to realize there was a bunch of people i think about and wanted to include in this event. the announcements were a goofy hodge podge of holiday card, 'we've moved!' and birth announcements all wrapped up into one. i still can't believe i actually got them out...
