austin mom's groups

so, since i feel like a shut-in, i decided to try to reach out and get involved with some...MOM'S GROUPS. doesn't it sound suburban? hee hee. well, there are several in austin, but none in my area specifically. so, now it looks like i am starting up the central austin chapter of the mom's group??!! it kind of caught me by surprise, but the mom's group organization has specific rules and boundaries about their clubs, so i am going throught he process, and since i have shown the most interest, i think they are going to make me the president of this "new" chapter.

i just wanted to meet a couple of other moms...what have i gotten myself into?

Did you start a Central Austin Mom's Club? I am moving to Austin in July and have a 1 year old and we expect to live in Central, though don't have a place yet.
